A Naming Ceremony is a very special way of celebrating the birth of your child and welcoming the new arrival into the family and your circle of dear friends.

It is also ideally suited to celebrate & welcome an older or adopted child into the family or to embrace stepchildren into a new family.

It's an opportunity to declare before family & friends, your promises to be a good parent and role model. Godparents or Guardians can be appointed & their special relationship with the child can be confirmed.

During the ceremony, parents state their love & commitment to their child, declare hopes & dreams for their future and formally give them the name by which they will be known.

There are many beautiful ways to make the ceremony unique - light a candle to symbolise the warmth of love that will surround your child, shower your baby in rose petals to symbolise life, beauty & growth, or plant a special tree and watch it grow & develop each year along with your child. I have many suggestions to make your baby's special day memorable & enjoyable for the participants & the audience alike.

It's a unique occasion for everyone to feel involved as they pledge their love & support for your child's future development. Older siblings and Grandparents can all play an important role in the ceremony. It's the perfect way to bond as a family unit.
