Ceremonies can be held at the venue of your choice; your home, favourite beach, park, garden or restaurant, anywhere that is special to you. There are no shortage of beautiful venues to hold your ceremony; from long white sandy beaches, beautiful lookouts and glorious gardens. If your wedding is to be held in a public place, it is the responsibility of the Bride and Groom to arrange permits with local authorities if necessary. To make your job easy, I have a selection of sample ceremonies and readings from which you can choose, or we can create a totally new & personal ceremony which is meaningful to you. The ceremony can be as traditional or alternative as you wish. We can include Religious readings or cultural aspects together with any themes that may interest you. I will provide many options for the content and presentation of your ceremony which we can discuss at our first meeting.

An elopement is an opportunity to marry each other in a very small and private setting. Please remember that the same conditions apply as with a traditional wedding ceremony. You are required to submit a Notice of Intended Marriage form not less than one month and one day prior to the ceremony date and the same documentation needs to be sighted before the marriage can take place. You are required to have two witnesses at the ceremony aged over 18 years of age, to sign the official paperwork.

Your decision to marry can still remain a secret from family and friends & we can design a ceremony that is intensely personal and reflects your beliefs as a couple.

Elopements can be conducted as a “surprise wedding” which enables the couple to arrange the wedding in confidence and have their guests arrive under the pretence of a birthday, house warming or similar event. Together, we will work to maintain your secrecy, then surprise the guests with a wedding on the day!
